These trails not only take you to the breathtaking waterfalls of the Krka River but also reveal a millennium of history. The Trails of Krka National Park

  • Embark on the Roman Road, a historical odyssey. Meandering near the Burnum military camp, this trail descends steeply through the Krka River canyon, passing ancient water mills. Tracing the footsteps of the ancient Romans, you’ll be treated to a splendid view of the majestic Manojlovac waterfall. Serving as a bridge across time, this path offers a unique glimpse into the perspective of our forebears.

  • Venture upstream along the Brljan trail for a rendezvous with attractions. Originating just above the Brljan waterfall, this trail, once a crucial river crossing, now presents a harmonious blend of nature and history for those who tread its path. 
  • Embark on the Perica trail for an encounter with fortifications. Commencing from the charming town of Nečven, this trail descends to the Bibić rapids, marking the Krka river’s waterway’s end. At this point, boats ferrying visitors from Roški Slap to the Krka monastery and the medieval fortresses of Nečven and Trošenj make a graceful turnaround. Seize the opportunity to witness, from a unique vantage point, the medieval marvels of Nečven and Trošenj, poised on opposite banks of the Krka.
