ZAGREB - THE GOOD SOUL OF EUROPE

The only European capital where you won’t feel like a stranger — or even a tourist.

Zagreb doesn’t herd you through a checklist of attractions like Paris or Vienna. Instead, it quietly invites you in. The city still holds the soul of a town — with over a million people and yet the warmth of a close-knit neighborhood. Strangers nod when they pass. Neighbors still say “dobar dan.”

Zagreb wants you to become part of it.

Zagreb - Tomislavac
King Tomislav Square, known as Tomislavac, is a lively green square in Zagreb where people relax and picnic in spring and summer, with the stunning Art Pavilion as its central landmark.

You won’t just be checking off one of the last remaining Gothic cathedrals in Europe, or taking a photo during the world-famous Advent Festival or the Snow Queen Trophy in January. Yes, you can walk through the Stone Gate, built in the 13th century, and touch the work of a stonemason who lived centuries ago… But that’s not the real reason to come.

Zagreb - St. Mark's Square
An aerial view of Zagreb reveals the charming rooftops of the Old Town (Gornji grad), with the colorful tiled roof of St. Mark's Church standing out on St. Mark's Square, surrounded by historic buildings that reflect the city's rich cultural and political heritage.

It’s about the moment. The feeling. It’s about eating bean stew on a snowy day, sharing mulled wine with a stranger, and somehow talking like you’ve known each other for years.

That’s Zagreb. The good soul of Europe.

A personal note from me

Zagreb - Ban Jelačić Square
Ban Jelačić Square, the central hub of Zagreb, features the iconic statue of Ban Josip Jelačić on horseback, surrounded by historic buildings and always buzzing with city life.

I visit Zagreb often — sometimes just for the day. Today, while sipping coffee and riding a rented romobil through the streets, I caught myself smiling at the simple things: the sound of the trams, the rustle of chestnut trees in Zrinjevac, the old bookstore windows. I wasn’t there to see anything “new” — I was there to feel Zagreb again.
And every time, it feels like coming home.

Whether it’s your first time or your fifth — there’s a lot to see, but even more to feel in Zagreb.
Let us help you connect with it fully.
