Welcome Spring Festival 2024 will be held in Zagreb Park from April 29 to May 5, 2024. and it promises a fun program. Starting Monday, April 29th, this festival begins the city’s festive season. It’s a lively celebration of art, dance, and sustainability, perfect for locals and tourists alike.Â
Get ready for a week-long extravaganza packed with fun activities! From interactive workshops and fascinating lectures to Olympiads and musical performances, there’s something for everyone. The festivities will continue until May 5th, so you have plenty of time to enjoy the fun.Â
You’ll find it on the meadow between Hrvatske Bratske Zajedna Street and Vukovarska Street, near the Route 66 club. It’s a great spot to soak up the festival atmosphere and enjoy the spring vibes. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to experience Zagreb‘s cultural spirit in full swing. Come along and celebrate the arrival of spring with us!Â
Join us for the opening of the festival, where you can take part in lively dance workshops celebrating World Dance Day. Throughout the week, groove to the beats of colorful bands like Klapanx, Neki Novi Klinci Trio, BalaÅ¡ević’s Laganice, Kaira Kela, Commi Balde, Terminator, and The Plagiators.Â
On Tuesday, April 30th, come and enjoy the excitement of the Little Olympics of Waste, starting at 4 p.m. Watch as celebrities like Marina Orsag, Neda Parmać, and Marko Braić compete against young talents. Cheer them on and see who will triumph!Â
Don’t miss out on the May Day festival, featuring homemade beans for everyone (remember to bring your plates and utensils to reduce waste). Hosted by the Priroda za sve association, the first 100 visitors get free servings starting at 1 p.m. Enjoy soulful tunes from the incredible Soulectors collective, Lana G, and Pacho, along with BRONZ – the one-man band known as The Voice, who’ll keep the party going with their versatile musical styles.Â
Prepare for a special evening on Friday, May 3rd, starting at 6 p.m.! It’s a night of laughter and celebration as we honor Marina Orsag, our renowned comedian, marking 19 incredible years in comedy. Marina’s vibrant energy and witty humor promise an evening filled with laughter, joy, and unforgettable memories for all who attend.Â
Art takes center stage in our festival’s celebration of sustainable development. On the weekend of May 4th and 5th, immerse yourself in creativity at the Art Bazaar. Local artists will captivate your imagination with their unique works, offering a glimpse into their creative worlds.Â
And when it’s time to satisfy your cravings, explore the flavors of our festival. Indulge in refreshing cocktails, cold beer, and a variety of beverages at our lively bar. And for a taste sensation, don’t miss the Langosh bar, where you can savor a delightful array of Langoshe dishes, each bursting with flavor and sure to delight your palate, much like the excitement when Nadalina beats eggs.Â
Samobor: Nestled at the foot of the picturesque Samobor Hills, the charming town of Samobor is a delightful destination for a springtime escape. Just a short drive from Zagreb, Samobor boasts cobblestone streets lined with quaint cafes, historic churches, and colorful buildings.
