🚤 How to Get to Hvar

Hvar is an island — so even though there’s no airport on it, getting there is easier than you think.

From Split:

 ~1 hour by high-speed catamaran
 ~2 hours by ferry (car-friendly)

From Dubrovnik:
 ~3.5 hours by catamaran (seasonal)

💡 Tip: Catamarans are fastest, but car ferries are more flexible if you’re bringing a vehicle.

🎫 Island Entry & Fees

Hvar doesn’t require entry tickets like a national park, but during summer, some beaches and heritage sites may charge small entrance fees.
If visiting the Pakleni Islands, boat taxis or guided tours may include a fee.

💡 Tip: Bring cash for small island services like boat taxis and beach loungers.
